We are proud to announce our new published Over-the-Board chess database OM OTB increased by 91K and moved its bar over 8 million games. (8,044,244 games). Some players consider this chess database as the strongest ever built partly because it has good size and partly because it collects over-the-board games.
We are pleased to introduce new update from our chess analysts. The OM CORR has been updated and increased by 50,000 games for the last update period. Total number of human chess correspondence games represented until January 18 is 1 676 887.

How is your summer? Are you playing some interesting tournaments or just lazy around the beach. I remember some decades ago the beautiful Adriatic sea and many chess players sitting at the boardwalk and playing endless games. Those were the over-the-board days where people could actually feel the opponent.
With 1,6 million games, it is the ICCF and generally correspondence games best chess database. Mainly used by the correspondence chess players, the OM CORR shows true power when helping the chess masters to analyze their openings or middle game.
For some time we have been analyzing our duplicates. We knew we had few, you always found some, we didn't how many we had but we knew there are these suckers who always pop up and destroy our image of duplicate free chess database. Well, no longer is the case. We announce duplicate free OTB chess database.
This is probably THE biggest even in history of Opening Master. Ever since we started our collection back in 2004 we had dreamt of largest human chess collection. Not just computer generated games. But quality collection where chess players could benefit from the statistics of open positions and games. Where chess players would download in one since piece the entire human chess of the world.
The summer is almost over and we are in front of the autumn doors. Just recently we were watching probably the most prestigious and important chess tournament - Sinquefield Cup 2015 in St.Luis, USA. Nakamura went up 2 places and Anand 2 down. Well, chess is a game after all. Our co-founder Dr.Jan Helbich, SIM went to Cardiff, Wales to represent Slovakia on ICCF world congress and worked on new September release of OM OTB. Wow, August was a busy month.
July and August are two months of the year when Earth (or western part of it) slows down. The heat wave comes to us and hit us to the face. The outside temperature is increasing to the levels where it is no longer possible chill out. Aircondition inside and swimming outside are two possibilities. Or moving to the polar circle.
