Perenyi Attack

The Perenyi Attack (B81) is one of the sharpest lines in the Sicilian Defence and starts with the moves 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 d6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 a6 6.Be3 e6 7.g4 e5 8.Nf5. It is a clone of Schveveningen Keres attack when Black move e5 to provoke white...

Perenyi.pngbecause g4 pawn is hanging. White has sharp attack and black have not developed figures. It is a main idea of this attack.

Though black has an advantage in material, he is behind in development and under intense pressure.  Black's goal is simply stated but difficult to realize: Mount a defense and survive the middlegame; maintain material advantage into the endgame where it will prove decisive.

Opening Master starts to upload second level analysis of some selected Openings. First one is above mentioned Perenyi Attack, B81. These games are very sharp and Black can play it only when is experienced and have good nerves. Look to the games and you will understand why.
