Dear Chess Friends it is a pleasure to announce another important milestone in Opening Master history. Spanish Chess Correspondence Federation (A.E.A.C) decided for exclusive database sponsorship of their chess players. It is an honor for Opening Master to provide chess database services to our colleagues from Spain. We call this month ''Spanish November'' not mentioning a new release of Opening Master for this month - 1.21 with 5,717.136 games in total having its OM 2500 184.545 games. Last updated November 7. It has all started with ICCF worldwide realizng the ever increasing imporatance of having strong chess database for their players. As we all know correspondence chess is bit different in nature compared to OTB (over-the-board) chess, it requires long and strong analysis by players using their databases or libraries helping them understanding the depth of the chess move. Very crucial in the entire cycle is strong and powerful database played by humans (computer games although in many cases powerful are still determinable especially in the endgames thus excluded from all databases). After signing a 3 years sponsorship agreement with ICCF, the Opening Master team has been also contacted by local national federations about sponsorships their local teams. After Argentina, Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Great Britain and USA, Spanish chess correspondence federation decided to support their players with OM databases too. There are ongoing negotations with other federations as well as chess players realize the imporatance of chess database service offered including its updates, new opening analyses, PDF reports, PGNs which are transferrable also to non-CBV environment, all this helps contemporary chess players to become better players tomorrow. Please review the local web site of A.E.A.C to learn about Spanish Chess Correspondence Federation.
