| ICCF US cooperation with Opening Master |

Dear Chess Friends, We are proud to announce an important milestone of Opening Master. Recently ICCF-US chess federation and Opening Master singed bilateral agreement on cooperation between the two parties. Opening Master will be providing chess databases during 2009/2010 period. Now couple of lines from our colleagues from ICCF US :
The Correspondence Chess League of America was formed in 1916 from four
correspondence chess clubs, including one Canadian club, and became a member of
the International Correspondence Chess Association when it was formed in
1946. Walter Muir took over the CCLA post of ICCF-US Secretary in
1969. ICCF-US now represents thousands of USA correspondence chess players
who are members of CCLA and the US Chess Federation. Hans Berliner and
Victor Palciauskas won ICCF World Championships as ICCF-US members.
USA teams participated in Olympiad III, and have participated
right up to the current Olympiad 18. USA teams reached their
third Finals in Olympiad 8, and have made the 14th, 15th, 16th
and 17th Finals, with the bronze medal going to the USA team in the 14th
Olympiad.
USA Grandmasters are Dr. Hans Berliner, Joseph DeMauro, Dr. Victor
Palciauskas, Robin Smith, John Timm, Alik Zilberberg, Dr. Jason Bokar, Dr.
Daniel Fleetwood, and Dr. Edward Duliba. Ladies International Ladies Masters are Dr.
Gina Langan and Dr. Christine Rosenfield.
ICCF-US sponsors the USCCC, held every two to three years, and USA players
participate in all major international events, including a gold medal for the
9th Panamerican Team Championship.
